The first two images are research and development sheets from my current project, where I have looked at my local maritime history and Chanel’s cruise wear. The third piece of work is the final design to a mini project I set myself focusing on current trend and the grey scale.
The following four pieces of work are all from one project that is inspired by blue patterns. The first is an initial colour board, next is a fabric and trend board focusing on the work of Alexander McQueen. The third piece is a design collection board which had fabric inserted using CAD. Finally an image of the flats for the collection.
The next two pieces of work are from the Graphics taster that I carried out before Christmas. The first is a mix media experimental piece and the second is my final outcome from that project, which was produced using CAD.
One of my etchings from the illustration taster is the next piece; this was one of my favourite techniques that I repeated to get the right amount of ink left on the piece. The penultimate piece of work is a research sheet from the fashion taster project that I completed before I specialised.
The final image is of an initial mood board that represents A/W 09/10 inspired by nature.I am keen to study in Manchester with its array of galleries and museums, which interest me and am convinced that the course at Manchester Metropolitan University will enable me to achieve my full potential.
